Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
We provide Professional Grooming, Doggie Daycare, and Dog Boarding. Each service is designed to pamper your pup with individualized care—think spa days, tail-wagging social play, and comfy “home away from home” suites.
Where are you located?
Our facility is conveniently located at:
1800 W McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
What can I bring for my dog’s stay?
You’re welcome to bring beds, blankets, toys, treats or other comfort items from home. These items will stay with your pup throughout their boarding stay to help them feel safe and cozy.
How can I contact you or make a booking?
Just visit our booking portal through the “Book Now” button on our homepage. For questions, email us at admin@tailsandtoebeans.org or call (419) 638-1180.
Do you have any paperwork or forms I need to complete?
Yes. All dogs must be registered in our client portal and have completed Policy & Consent Forms before attending daycare or boarding. These forms help us provide safe, individualized care for your pup.
What are your vaccination and health requirements?
For the safety of all dogs in our care, we require up-to-date vaccination records for:
Rabies
DHLPP
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
We recommend that the Canine Influenza Vaccine be administered as well, this is required for dogs in daycare. Please upload vaccination records to our client portal before your pup’s first visit.
What happens during Doggie Daycare?
At Doggie Daycare, pups enjoy a day full of supervised play, socialization, and exercise. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, we make sure each pup has a safe and positive experience.
How long can my dog stay for boarding?
We can accommodate both short stays (like a single night or weekend) and extended stays (for vacations or holidays). No matter how long the visit, our team ensures your dog feels loved and cared for.
Are meals included, or should I bring food?
We encourage you to bring your dog’s own food to keep their diet consistent and avoid tummy upsets. Please bring food in a container or bag with feeding instructions attached. For convenience, you may also pack meals in labeled, portioned containers.
If food is not provided, we can supply house food for a small fee.
How do you handle emergencies or medical issues?
Your dog’s health and safety are our top priority. In the event of an emergency:
We will immediately attempt to contact you. If we can’t reach you, we will call your listed emergency contact.
We will contact your veterinarian on file and follow their instructions whenever possible.
If urgent care is needed, we will transport your pup to either your preferred veterinarian (if local and open) or the nearest trusted animal hospital.
Our staff is trained to provide basic first aid until veterinary care is available.
We will keep you informed every step of the way to ensure your peace of mind.
