🐾 Upon Arrival | Front Door Policy🐾

At Tails & Toe Beans, the safety of every pet, client, and staff member is our top priority. To ensure a calm and secure environment for everyone, our front door remains locked during business hours.

In our early days, we experienced several instances where clients unknowingly brought dogs in off-leash. Unfortunately, not all dogs are friendly toward others or have reliable recall. These situations posed serious risks to the dogs already in our care, as well as to our staff and visiting clients.

To prevent these risks and maintain a controlled, safe lobby area, we now require the following upon arrival:

  1. Please call us when you arrive in the parking lot.

  2. Once we have safely cleared the lobby and ensured it’s ready, a staff member will open the door to welcome you and check in your pet.

  3. We kindly ask that all dogs arrive leashed and under control.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep Tails & Toe Beans a safe and welcoming place for every paw that walks through our door.

🐾 Aggression Disclosure Policy🐾

At Tails & Toe Beans, LLC, the safety of our staff, other dogs, and all individuals on the premises is our highest priority. As such, full and honest disclosure of your dog's behavioral history, including any history or signs of aggression, is mandatory.

Aggression is defined as any behavior that could reasonably be interpreted as threatening or harmful, including but not limited to: growling, snapping, lunging, biting, excessive guarding, or unprovoked hostility toward humans or other animals.

By enrolling your dog in our care, you affirm that:

  • You have fully and accurately disclosed any known history of aggression or behavioral issues, including prior incidents.

  • Your dog has not previously caused injury to another animal or person unless fully disclosed in writing.

Failure to disclose such information, or knowingly misrepresenting your dog’s temperament or behavior, will be considered a breach of contract and grounds for immediate removal of your dog from our facility.

Furthermore, if your nondisclosure or misrepresentation results in injury to a person, dog, or property, we reserve the right to:

  • Pursue civil damages to recover medical costs, veterinary bills, property damage, loss of income, or other related expenses.

  • Ban your dog from future services at our facility.

  • Report the incident to the appropriate local authorities or animal control, where required by law.

If your dog has a known history of aggression and we agree to accept them into our care, the full reservation amount will be charged to the card on file upfront.

Should your dog be required to leave early due to safety or behavioral concerns, this payment is non-refundable. At the owner’s discretion, a partial refund may be offered.

If your dog does not have a prior history of aggression but begins to display aggressive behaviors while in our care—such as growling, snapping, lunging, biting, guarding, or unprovoked hostility—you are responsible for ensuring that someone is available for immediate pick-up. In such cases, the full reservation amount will be charged to the card on file and will remain non-refundable.

This policy is enforced without exception to protect our staff, other pets, and your dog. By signing this agreement or utilizing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.

🐾Grooming Consent & Policy Agreement🐾

Accidents: Grooming tools are sharp, and while we take every precaution to ensure your pet’s safety, minor incidents such as nicks, cuts, scratches, or nail sensitivity may occur. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are always our top priority.

Health or Medical Issues: Grooming may uncover or aggravate underlying health conditions, which can surface during or after the appointment. Any veterinary expenses that arise are the sole responsibility of the pet’s owner.

Aggressive or Unsafe Behavior: We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time if a pet becomes overly stressed or aggressive. If services are stopped, the client will be charged for any work completed up to that point. The safety of your pet and others is always our primary concern.

Matting & Coat Condition: Severely matted coats may require shaving, which can cause irritation, nicks, or abrasions. Mats can trap moisture, urine, and debris, contributing to existing skin conditions. After dematting, pets may experience itchiness, redness, or behavior changes. Hair regrowth may also be affected.

Satisfaction Guarantee: We strive for your satisfaction. If you’re unhappy with any aspect of your pet’s groom, please notify us at pick-up so we can make adjustments. Once the pet leaves our premises, any return visits will be treated as a new appointment and charged accordingly.

Photos & Media: By signing this agreement, you authorize Tails & Toe Beans, LLC to photograph your pet for their client file or use in promotional materials and social media.
